Mocha and Murder: A Cozy Mystery (A Killer Coffee Mystery Series Book Two)

Rating: 5 of 5

Roxanne (Roxy) Bloom is settling into her new business in Honey Springs. She has the local coffeeshop, the Bean Hive, on the scenic area near the lake.

Her friend, Louise Carlton, runs the pet shelter nearby. Louise has a beef to pick with a local orchard owner. He has adopted a chicken that turns out to be more than she had thought.

Louise comes under suspicion when a murder occurs. It doesn’t help her case that she is found standing over the body with the weapon in her hand.

Still, Roxy is convinced (somewhat) of her innocence and she starts looking into the particulars of the death.

She is not only busy with the murder, but her estranged mother has shown up in town. Fireworks have nothing on the reunion of Roxy, Mom and Roxy’s favorite auntie. Can these three individuals become a united family or will the discord that has been sown get the better of them?
