37 Hand-Drawn Coloring Designs with Beautiful Detail printed on one side of non-perforated paper
Exhale: Breathe, Color, Relax … Dream
By: Ting Peterson
Rating: 5 of 5
This is a coloring book of 37 lovely hand-drawn designs. It is almost like a glimpse into the Ting Peterson’s art portfolio. There is a large variety of subjects with what I have come to see as her distinctive style. There are animals, flowers, mermaids, and even a set of ballroom dancers. I like that she has provided a lot of detail without the doodle look. It is a refreshing change and one that allows me the opportunity to do more blending. While most of the designs are detailed, they are not small and intricate. I think that coloring them will be fun but won’t be a strain on my eyes and hand.
All of the designs stop well before the binding. The designs are printed on one side of thin white non-perforated paper (the standard paper for CreateSpace publishing.) The binding is glued rather than sewn but you have enough space to safely cut out any page if you choose to do so. All of the designs have a framing line around the outside. I really appreciate when an artist adds this touch. It gives me a natural stopping point in coloring, saves me time and ink in coloring, and helps my final project look more polished. What I really like about the CreateSpace is it is a way that independent artists can get their work self-published. That way, I get a huge choice of design styles albeit with not the best paper.
