50 Intricate and Lovely Mandalas for hours of coloring relaxation

Breathe (Angie’s Extreme Stress Menders Volume 3)

This book contains 50 mandala designs. This is my first coloring book from Angie Grace but it is the third in her Extreme Stress Menders series. The designs are a series of flowing and graceful mandalas. Coloring them will be a fun experience with lots of choices of colors to make some lines pop and some to recede. I’m looking forward to them and to picking up future books by this artist as well.

The designs in this book are printed on one side of the white page with the back side left blank. The pages are not perforated but there is plenty of room to remove a page with a pen knife if you choose to do so. The binding is glued rather than sewn or stapled. All of my markers and some of my gel pens seeped through the pages. I would place a piece of heavy duty paper or two under the page I am working on to keep it from being an issue.

The designs in this book are quite lovely. Most are in a circular form but a handful of them are done as squares. They have a nice level of challenge for the colorist without extraordinary eye strain or difficulty in getting the nibs of pens into tight spots. I usually pull out a book of mandalas when my brain needs relief. Coloring the flowing lines and the repeating patterns help provide a calmness which is such a blessing at those times.
