Okay read but not my first choice

The book will certainly appeal to the target audience with the toilet humor and with the silly illustrations but I question whether or not children in early elementary school will be able to understand the misspellings and poor grammar. They are at an age where they are learning to spell and how to use grammar properly so it may just go past them. I’m not sure it would work well as a read-aloud book, either. All in all, it is an okay book but not one that I would recommend as a must have for a child’s bookshelf.
