“Sky High” is the second book in the Nicki Valentine mystery series by Susan O’Brien but it is the first book that I have read by this author. It was certainly very easy to pick the series up with the second book but I will be sure to go back and read the first book as I think it provides a lot of background on several character. I do think that there are some very real spoilers in the second book for regarding the action of the first one, so if you are thinking about the whole series, I suggest you read the first book first.
