Fantastic start to a new mystery series

What a fantastic new start to a suspenseful mystery series. The story revolves around Mason Reid and his K-9 dogs. Vira is his newest dog and, along with Sue (a boy named as such), Delta and Maggie May, steal the show.

What surprised me was that the book was not only a great suspense and mystery book but also really funny. The author has a way of bringing the dogs to life and wraps them around the the heart of the audience.

Emotional drama regarding secrets

When I first picked up this book, I thought it would a suspenseful mystery as were the other books I have read by this author. It turned out that was not the case.

The story is about secrets which are being kept between a husband and wife which have huge impacts upon their family. It takes an awful tragedy to get this two to consider sharing with one another.
