Beautiful Christian 2016 coloring calendar with extra designs printed both sides of heavyweight spiral bound paper

Christian Coloring Calendar 2016 Inspirational Messages for the Entire Year Praises Prayers and Promises of God By Artist Deborah Muller

This is a lovely Christian based coloring calendar for year 2016. It is my first experience with designs by Deborah Muller but I will certainly be picking up others in the future (especially as it looks like a larger publishing house will be presenting some of her designs in the coming year and which I have all pre-ordered.)

The designs are beautifully hand-drawn and, as I expect with such, there are sometimes a few errors that have been missed such as a typo on May’s picture as it should be Surely rather than Surley and the quote on the bottom of August should read which instead of whih. I would suggest a better review stage for the future to catch the small errors. Otherwise, the designs are beautifully drawn and the scripture meaningful to me so I am willing to overlook the typos but feel that it is important to point them out. I am also guilty of typos more often than I care to think about!

The scriptures are taken from both the Old and the New Testament and are very inspiring for me. While I like many types of coloring books, the Christian ones are the ones that touch me most of all. I not only get the enjoyment of coloring but also a renewal of spirit and purpose which is so important when I am under a large amount of stress and worry. Coloring in this calendar, as well as other Christian books, gives me a spiritual as well as mental rest.

The calendar is spiral bound and is printed on both sides of a fairly heavyweight paper. The paper is definitely a grade that is good for framing but you will have to cut the page away from the calendar or find a way to remove the spiral. The calendar is about the size of a normal sheet of paper. The designs are printed on the top portion of the open calendar with the dates (with scriptures and coloring opportunities, too, are printed on the bottom half.) Along with the 12 months of designs, there are an additional 12 full size designs at the back of the book. I am almost finished with my first of her designs and have really enjoyed coloring it.

I tested and all of my markers leaked through this paper. My gel pens and colored pencils had no problems, so either I will sacrifice the backside of the page to use markers or use pencils/pens with this book.
