Coloring Book based on Beloved Children’s Classic story – printed both sides of the page

Guess How Much I Love You Coloring Book

By: Sam McBratney; Illustrated By: Anita Jeram

Rating: 5 of 5

This is a lovely coloring book based on the children’s classic book of the same title. There are ninety six pages of illustrations (both sides of the page) which are based on the book illustrations. There are many pages which use a variety of bits and pieces to create completely new designs. There are also a number of wall-paper style pages (repeating images) but the images are so cute, in this case I don’t mind it.

This is a book that my children enjoyed and now my grandchildren do, too. Coloring in this book brings back many happy memories. It is aimed at the adult coloring market but I believe children can color the designs as well. Not little ones but children who are versed in coloring should enjoy it.

The designs range from open and easy to somewhat detailed with smaller areas to color. It is not what I consider difficult or intricate to color

This is what I found in this coloring book

96 Pages of Guess How Much I Love You Designs are included in the book

The designs are printed on both sides of the page

Paper is the white, medium weight, slightly rough and non-perforated

Glue Binding

Some of the designs spread across two pages and some designs merge into the binding

Alcohol-based markers bleed through the page. If you use this media, I suggest using a blotter page under your working page. I like card stock as it keeps ink from seeping through and damaging the pages below.

Water-based markers, gel pens and India ink pens do not bleed through but can leave slight shadows on the back of the page.

Coloring pencils work well with this paper. I am able to get good pigment (color) lay down, layer the same color and multiple colors and blend well with a pencil style blending stick. It works well for both oil and wax based colors.

Here are some sample pages from the book:
