Lots of twists in this near-future science fiction thriller

thefoldI enjoyed this book very much. It was attention grabbing from the beginning and the main character is one that I would certainly like to see in future books. In my opinion, this could be the first of a series.

About 30% into the book, I had a theory of what was going on. However, as the story unfolded more it became apparent that my theory was in the right direction but incorrect. There were a number of twists throughout the book that kept my interest and each time I put it down, I looked forward to the next time I picked it up to see what the author had coming up.

invasionofprivacyInvasion of Privacy” is the first book I have read by Christopher Reich. It was a really good read and definitely makes me want to go back and read some of his previous books. It was a very suspenseful thriller – with lots of action and plot twists throughout the book. I read it in one day because, frankly, I found that I could not put it down. The book is set in the Hill Country around Austin, TX, where I lived for a number of years and it was fairly accurate in its portrayal of the area and the individuals who would call that area home.
